Blurt feature-story stars My Morning Jacket — you can read Associate Editor Andy Tennille’s article on them HERE — kicked off their world tour in support of their new album, Evil Urges, at a sold-out Radio City Music Hall in New York City last Friday, June 20.

"From the moment the band hit the historic stage on 6th Avenue, My Morning Jacket owned it," say Tennille, who photographed the show. "Jim James and company delivered a thrilling three-hour performance that included the entire track list from Evil Urges mixed in with songs from their entire catalog. Gotham got the full-bore Jacket experience, which will no doubt prepare them for the band's return to the Big Apple for their New Year's Eve show at Madison Square Garden."
