Clues - Haarp
Clues features former members of Arcade Fire and Unicorns; their self-titled album comes out May 19 on Constellation.
Shot on Super 8 by experimental filmmaker Karl Lemieux (an active
member of the Double Negative Collective), "Haarp" was created when Clues were out flying kites in bitter winter deep freeze as part of the
artwork session for their debut album (photos from the kite flying
expedition appear throughout the record packaging). Karl's footage
was then edited by Brendan and Ben from Clues. The kites themselves were
designed and printed by local silkscreen luminary Leyla Majeri.
